THE EARTH CORE.
Image result for WHY EARTH IS A MAGNENT ?
The Earth's core is broken up into two distinct regions. The inner core is a sphere of solid metal that measures about 2,440 km across. It's believed to be comprised of 80% iron and 20% nickel. Surrounding this solid inner core is an outer core of liquid metal that extends for approximately another 2,000 km.Jun 1, 2010
Earth's magnetic field is mostly caused by electric currents in the liquid outer core, which is composed of conductive, molten iron. Loops of currents in the constantly moving, liquid iron create magnetic fields. From afar, the Earth looks like a big magnet with a north and south pole like any other magnet.
Why Earth is considered as a magnet?ET ?
The crust of the Earth has some permanent magnetization, and the Earth's core generates its own magnetic field, sustaining the main part of the field we measure at the surface. So we could say that the Earth is, therefore, a "magnet."
ATMOSPHERE.
An atmosphere is the layers of gases surrounding a planet or other celestial body. Earth's atmosphere is composed of about 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and one percent other gases. ... The sun heats layers of the atmosphere causing it to convect driving air movement and weather patterns around the world.
